“Serving the creation is a great act of worship”– Gausia Committee, Allama Syed Muhammad Tayyab Shah (Rah.)

Assalamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuhu,

Alhamdulillah! Alhamdulillah!

In response to the call of the Central Council of Gausia Committee Bangladesh, the Women Wing of Gausia Committee Bangladesh successfully carried out a “Gift Collection Campaign” for post-flood relief aid on 25th and 26th August 2024.

Over the course of this dynamic two-day initiative, essential relief items such as new and gently-used clothing, food supplies, and financial donations were collected. The campaign saw remarkable participation from branch committees across Chattogram North & South Metropolitan areas, Dhaka, and various regions both nationally and internationally, as well as support from many general well-wishing mothers and sisters.

At the conclusion of the campaign, all collected items were formally handed over to the Central Council of Gausia Committee Bangladesh. The handover was conducted by:

• Salma Nasrin, General Secretary
• Nusrat Tamanna, Organizing Secretary
• Farhatul Jinan Ruhi, Secretary of Literature and Culture
• Hafeza Afrin, Advisor on Social Welfare

The recipients included:

• Alhaj Pyar Muhammad Commissioner, Honorable Chairman
• Alhaj Kamruddin Sabur, Treasurer
• Sadek Hossain Pappu, Director, ASF
• Along with other respected officials of the Central Council.

Heartfelt gratitude is extended to all the dedicated women and committed activists from various units who tirelessly contributed to the collection, sorting, and packaging of relief items. In this time of national crisis, may we all come forward in mutual support, fulfilling the noble duty of serving the creation as entrusted by our honored Mashayekh.

Note: The collection of financial donations and dry food is still ongoing. (Clothing collection has been paused for the time being.)

বিগত ২৫ ও ২৬শে আগষ্ট, ২০২৪ইং গাউসিয়া কমিটি বাংলাদেশ,কেন্দ্রীয় পরিষদ এর আহ্বানে গাউসিয়া কমিটি বাংলাদেশ মহিলা পরিষদ এর পক্ষ থেকে দেশব্যাপী বন্যার্তদের জন্য বন্যা-পরবর্তী সহায়তাকে কেন্দ্র করে উক্ত কমিটির পরিচালনায় ‘উপহার সামগ্রী সংগ্রহ কর্মসূচি‘ সুষ্ঠুভাবে সম্পন্ন হয়েছে।

🌼 ২দিন ব্যাপী এ প্রাণবন্ত কর্মসূচিতে মানসম্মত নতুন-পুরাতন পোশাক, খাদ্য ও আর্থিক অনুদানসহ নানা নিত্যপ্রয়োজনীয় দ্রব্যাদির ব্যবস্থা করা হয়, যেখানে চট্টগ্রাম উত্তর-দক্ষিণ মহানগর সহ ঢাকা ও দেশে-বিদেশের নানা প্রান্ত হতে শাখা কমিটিগুলো এবং সাধারণ মা-বোনদের সার্বিক অংশগ্রহণ ছিল উল্লেখযোগ্য।

💞 পরিশেষে, সকল উপহার-সামগ্রী গাউসিয়া কমিটি বাংলাদেশ, কেন্দ্রীয় পরিষদ এর মান্যবর চেয়ারম্যান আলহাজ্ব পেয়ার মুহাম্মদ কমিশনার সাহেব, অর্থ সম্পাদক আলহাজ্ব কমরুদ্দীন সবুর সাহেব, এ.এস.এফ. এর পরিচালক সাদেক হোসেন পাপ্পু সহ অন্যান্য কর্মকর্তাবৃন্দের দায়িত্বে হস্তান্তর করেন মহিলা পরিষদের সাধারণ সম্পাদক সালমা নাসরিন সাহেবা , সাংগঠনিক সম্পাদক নুসরাত তামান্না সাহেবা, সাহিত্য ও সংস্কৃতি বিষয়ক সম্পাদক ফারহাতুল জিনান রুহি সাহেবা ও সমাজসেবা বিষয়ক উপদেষ্টা হাফেজা আফরিন সাহেবা।।

💟 ত্রাণ সামগ্রী সংগ্রহ,বাছাই ও প্যাকেট করার কাজে নিয়োজিত বিভিন্ন ইউনিটের সকল কর্মী মা-বোনদের প্রতি অসংখ্য কৃতজ্ঞতা। জাতির এই দুর্যোগে আমরা সকলেই যেন একে অপরের সহায়তায় এগিয়ে আসি এবং হযরাতে কেরামের প্রদেয় দায়িত্ব মাখলুকের খেদমত করে যেতে পারি তজ্জন্য দু’আপ্রার্থী।

🟢 উল্লেখ্য, আর্থিক অনুদান ও শুকনা খাদ্য সংগ্রহ এখনো চলমান আছে।( কাপড়-সংগ্রহ স্থগিত আছে)
